Explosive Productions began working with David Allen Chartered Accountants in 2004 when we decided to set up our own business.

From the very start we felt reassured that we were working with people who could help us with our ideas.  They took the time to understand our business and what we wanted to achieve and explained the options available to us around business structures, the advantages and disadvantages of each and the tax implications.  The advice was clear and easy to understand and we immediately felt that we were in safe hands.

With David Allen Financial Services we have all of our finances looked after in the one place.

One particular area of advice they helped us with was with the purchase of the business premises of Explosive Productions.  They explored all of the various options for us and their recommendation has been instrumental to the ongoing growth and development of the business, as it secured us a central base from which to work from.

As well as helping Explosive Productions, on a personal level the support, guidance and practical advice we have received from Steve Balmer and the David Allen Financial Services team, means that I also know my own finances are on track to achieve my objectives.

When we were in need of an improved IT infrastructure, which primarily involved replacing our main operating servers.  This required an efficient, robust solution with solid, hands on support.

The proposal made to Explosive Productions from David Allen IT Solutions comprised of a fully managed service, including provision and migration of data and applications to new servers, a migration of the business email system to Microsoft Microsoft 365, a backup and replication solution utilising Veeam and finally a replication of all the business data to a robust data centre security solution.

From the outset the project was managed in a very professional manner offering both practical advice and proactive support throughout.  More importantly the planned infrastructure changes were completed on time with no disruption to the day to day running of our business, this being crucial to maintaining momentum during a very busy time for us.
