We are so grateful when our clients take the time to give our teams feedback on their work across all our services but when it comes to writing your Will we know how personal this is and how much it can impact families.
Our Wills, Power of Attorney and Probate team were thrilled to receive the feedback from Mr and Mrs Milner.
‘Impressed with their professionalism and commitment to making sure they were happy and wishes met’
If you are looking at putting your Will in place or think it’s time it was reviewed, here are some key things to think about before your appointment:
- What your concerns are or who you want to protect your estate for. E.g., concerns about remarriage.
- who would be responsible and look after your minor children should anything happen to you?
- who you want to benefit from your will.
- whether you want to give any specific gifts or gifts of money to particular people.
- where the ‘residue’ of the estate is to go (everything you own minus any specific gifts that have been given after paying funeral and administrative expenses, legacies and taxes)
- what you want to happen if any of your beneficiaries should die before you.
At David Allen, we understand the significance of writing a Will. It’s not just a legal document; it’s a way to safeguard your loved ones’ future and ensure that your wishes are honoured. We take pride in our ability to guide you through this process with care and expertise.
