As with all letting agents, we have some tenants and former tenants whose accounts have fallen into arrears.
For arrears where we have exhausted all efforts to recoup, we instruct David Allen Recovery Solutions to handle these matters for us. They make contact with debtors and, where possible, set up payment arrangements for the arrears. Failing this, they issue court proceedings and obtain County Court Judgments, which they can then enforce. This can range from instructing High Court Enforcement agents to attend the debtor’s property or making an application for deductions to be made directly from the debtor’s wages.
