Focus Referrals is a veterinary referral service for small animals specialising in veterinary eye care based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. David Allen IT Solutions was recommended to us by a veterinary colleague who were already benefiting from having a managed IT contract with David Allen IT Solutions.
Following a review of their IT requirements, Director Gary Martin, was able to provide recommendations to us for new IT infrastructure and how to optimise the use of technology for business performance.
Consultancy was provided by planning the configuration of the network for the new vets practice, securing high speed internet connectivity and including recommendations for the network cabling layout and specifications. A fully managed network router and switch that delivers robust performance was installed along with wireless access points enabling staff and guest Wi-Fi.
David Allen IT Solutions also supplied and installed new high-performance Dell business desktops essential for productivity in a space-saving design. Along with the new hardware, software support was provided with the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Teams, facilitating seamless collaboration amongst colleagues. To ensure all systems were running smoothly on the new equipment, David Allen IT Solutions liaised with specialist veterinary software vendors for the installation of their software.
A new Gamma Horizon hosted VOIP business telephone system was also installed, further permitting flexible working by allowing calls to be diverted quickly and easily to a range of devices.
