Following the announcement of our sponsorship of Watchtree Nature Reserve, I am delighted to share that our Totem Sign is now up, to mark the start off the new Health & Wellbeing Trail. Our collaboration with Watchtree is the first step in the direction of signifying the connection between financial wellbeing and mental and physical wellbeing.
A common misconception is that money brings you happiness, but after an initial consultation with my clients, the end result is always to achieve peace of mind. That’s why for the next couple of weeks we want to demonstrate how Financial Wellbeing isn’t about listing the services we offer; it’s about showing you the difference we’ve made to our clients through the advice we have provided.
Mr Walker, a client who required just an initial look at his various pension plans to see what they were worth and what they might provide him with in retirement, provided some fantastic feedback for me and my team:
“When the time came around to finally do some pension planning, I asked around for recommendations on social media and Steve Balmer and the team at David Allen was the name that came up time and time again from other satisfied customers. I can genuinely say that the service received from Steve and his team has been first rate, making our current pension provision clear by tracking down and compiling understandable and concise visual representations that then made future planning a stress free and easy process. I feel confident that we’re in safe hands with regard to our financial future and would not hesitate in encouraging anyone, at whatever stage of their financial planning journey, to take advantage of their expertise and friendly service.”
There is a world of difference between saying you do something, actually doing it and then proving you have made a difference. Job satisfaction for me is knowing I’ve made a difference to a client who previously didn’t know their options, or how to achieve their goals.
So, pop along to Watchtree Nature Reserve, take a walk around their beautiful trail, and have a think about what support you need to achieve the ultimate goal – peace of mind.
