Joe Jobson was so close to completing his IT infrastructure technician apprenticeship course with Carlisle College when, due to the impact of COVID-19, he was faced with redundancy from his employer.  Thankfully our David Allen IT Solutions’ team swiftly stepped in to offer him a three-week placement and were so impressed with his work he was offered a permanent full-time role.

As it’s only been a few short months since Joe began working for IT Solutions, we thought we would check in with him and see how he was settling in.

‘Joining IT Solutions has been one of the best decisions I have made for my career.  They have welcomed me as part of the team with open arms, where I’ve felt like I can truly develop and be the best version of myself.  I look forward to each day in the office and feel like each day there’s another support request that challenges me and further expands my knowledge.  Not only have they given me a chance to finish my apprenticeship, but they’ve also given me an opportunity for a career, for which I am incredibly grateful for.’
