We are pleased to announce that Neil Edmondson has been appointed Director of our Financial Services department.  Neil will continue his position as Independent Financial Adviser for the firm, whilst taking on the senior role of Director assisting in our strategic development and growth plans.

Neil is a highly experienced Adviser, with over 23 years in the industry.  He began his career at The Cumberland Building Society, spending 7 years with the organisation.  Later moving to HSBC as a financial adviser from 2004 – 2012, leaving to work for national investment firm Hargreaves Lansdown.  Neil joined #TeamDA in March 2020.

Neil resides in Kirkoswald and will also play a pivotal role in the strategic development of our Penrith office, whilst supporting clients old and new in the surrounding area.

Neil explained:

‘I am of course absolutely delighted with my progression within the firm.  We have an amazingly positive and growing team which is an honour to be a part of.  I am excited for the future and to have further influence on the development of our business.

It feels very much like I have come full circle from beginning my career working for a small regional business, to then working for national and international businesses, to now working for a regional firm again.  It was the way David Allen looked after their clients that initially attracted me to the firm, as well as the array of professional services they have under one roof, which meets so many clients’ needs.  The David Allen approach is far more personal, I am able to ensure clients receive quality straight talking business advice, which is what it’s all about.’
