After completing my degree in Economics from Heriot-Watt University, I returned to Dumfries ready to start the next chapter of my career. While I decided not to pursue a path as an Economist, my passion for numbers and problem solving remained strong, so I was drawn to apply for a position at David Allen as we a great local reputation for being a professional, forward-thinking business. After hearing about the firm’s commitment to staff development, I knew it was a place I wanted to build a lifelong career.

I joined the Dumfries office in September 2022 and haven’t looked back since! Working alongside such a supportive and talented team makes every day rewarding. Providing excellent service to our clients is something I take great pride in, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism.

Pursuing my Chartered Accountant qualification has been an exciting journey, providing me with the opportunity to continuously build my technical knowledge and develop personally. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is applying this technical knowledge on projects to make a meaningful impact and support our clients in achieving their business goals.
