Joe Gordon

I joined David Allen in September 2022 as an Accounts Assistant with little knowledge of accounting after a career change.  I always wanted to be in the accounting profession and made the decision to study my AAT at home while still working full time.

When I made the step to gain experience in accounting, I was attracted to working at David Allen because of our commitment to clients and the wider community, alongside the support that you receive from colleagues.   Our values really resonated with me and my ambition to improve my knowledge and develop in my career which gives me room to grow.

My day consists of drafting corporate accounts, preparing VAT returns and finding solutions to client queries.  I particularly enjoy speaking to clients and discovering about their business then problem solving to give the best advice possible.

When I’m not working at David Allen, you will find me out on the golf course.
