Julie Wray-McCann

After leaving school, I was working for a small local garage in Carlisle doing accounts and admin.  The garage was looking for a new accountant and had heard great things about David Allen, which was a relatively new business at the time.

David’s very first member of staff visited the garage to give me Sage training and I was really interested in learning about this side of accounts.  I admired the way the business worked therefore was eager to join the business.  After a conversation with David in 2002, I found myself starting work at this lovely brand new building with a firm that was just getting going and steadily growing.  It was all very exciting!

My main role back then was to provide Sage training to clients, as well as installing and setting up Sage for clients.  The opportunity arose in 2016 to become Management Accountant, I jumped at the chance.  My greatest professional achievement is gaining my AAT.

I live with my partner Bryan and our two children Kayleigh and Ben.  As well as our little dog Mitzi, who I like to go out walking with.
