Lesley Cash

After travelling to Australia and New Zealand after University I started my career in August 2013 at a firm in Glasgow as a Personal Tax Assistant, as I had studied Tax as part of my Law Degree at the University of Strathclyde.  I then qualified as an Associate of Tax Technicians (ATT) in 2014 and then qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) in 2016.  I relocated from Ayrshire to Cumbria in May 2017 and started as a Tax Senior with David Allen.

The firm was very welcoming, from the minute I walked through the door I knew it would be a good fit for me.  The Tax team have a wealth of experience and knowledge and it is a great team to be part of.  The Penrith office is friendly and welcoming, and I enjoy being part of the team there.

I split my time between Tax Compliance and Tax Consultancy, specialising in personal tax, partnership tax, tax planning and Capital Gains Tax.  No two clients’ circumstances are the same which keeps my job interesting.  It is also an ever-changing subject – no two days are the same!

I am married to my husband Tom, we like to get out walking in the Lakes with our dog. We love to travel and get away when we can either on holiday or to visit family as we are from opposite ends of the UK.
