I graduated with a degree in Accounting and started my professional journey with David Allen soon after. In 2022, I was fortunate enough to begin working towards my ACA qualification, which has been an exciting step in my career.
One of the things I love most about David Allen is the personal touch they bring to both staff and clients, even as the company continues to grow. We are a company that really values its people and that shows in everything from our work culture to our strong social media presence.
No two days are the same for me, which is something I really enjoy. My role involves a mix of responsibilities, from handling statutory work in our Dumfries office, to completing and submitting VAT returns, drafting accounts for limited companies and charities, and working on audits. The variety keeps things interesting and challenging.
I am also proud to be part of an amazing team in Dumfries. We work so well together because we all bring something different to the table and everyone is always ready to help, no matter the size of the task. We are growing our knowledge as a team.
