Lucy Reay

I left school at age 16 knowing I wanted to find a job, I knew sixth form and eventually university was not the route for me. I applied for a business administration apprenticeship with RWP Training Limited working in their recruitment team and after two years I decided it was time for a change.  I managed to get my foot in the door at a small Financial Services firm based in Carlisle.  After finding my feet and learning the basics I found that there was little to no career progression which is something I am very passionate about.  I started to work for David Allen Financial Services in 2018 as a Financial Planning Assistant and have never looked back.

In April 2021 I was promoted to ‘Support Team Leader’.  This is something that I will forever be grateful for. I am very passionate about the Financial Services industry in general but especially providing our clients with a 5* service.

My sister also works at David Allen in the payroll team; it really is a family orientated business. In my spare time, I love baking, although I am no Mary Berry…. We have a Springer Spaniel at home who is very mischievous.
