Oliver Thomlinson

After completing an apprenticeship at a local accountancy firm, I decided that I wanted to work for a forward-thinking firm that valued my skills and would provide opportunities for personal progression, so I made the move to David Allen in 2018.

I am certified to use Xero and Quickbooks and have over 4 years’ experience using these, I also train our clients in the software, this allows them to complete their own VAT returns and bookkeeping.  In my day to day role I complete accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping.

I have a background in the agricultural sector having grown up on a family farm.  This allows me to understand the day-to-day needs of running a farming business and provide the best possible service to our clients.

Working with clients is very rewarding, I enjoy seeing them benefit from my help and advice.  I enjoy giving the best service possible.
