I joined David Allen in 2018, looking for a new challenge and bringing with me years of experience in the accountancy industry. Throughout my career, I have been committed to delivering professional, technical and client-focused services—values that align perfectly with our ethos. I work with a diverse range of clients, including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. My expertise spans year-end accounts preparation, VAT, and accounting software. As one of our software specialists, I have in-depth knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero, enabling clients to gain real-time financial insights and make informed decisions for their businesses.
A significant part of my role as the Dumfries Manager is training and mentoring junior team members. I prioritise building their confidence and technical skills while fostering a culture of professionalism and a proactive approach to client care. I help them deliver high-quality work efficiently, communicate effectively with clients and manage expectations with integrity. Watching their progress and seeing them thrive is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role.
