I was home-educated up until A levels, when I originally planned on going to University to study to become a vet.  However, I soon realised that University wasn’t for me, therefore I began to look locally for apprenticeships.

I had always been interesting in maths and figures and applied locally for several accountancy firms, though David Allen was the firm that stood out for me as being a modern forward-thinking firm.  Given the businesses rapid growth and continued expansion, there was also great opportunities to develop and progress.

I am AAT qualified and certified to advise on MTD-compliant software like Xero and QuickBooks.  Since earning my AAT qualification, I have been pursuing my ACA to become a Chartered Accountant and have been promoted to Audit Senior.

I love working with clients, it is a great feeling when you are able to solve their problem and leave them feeling satisfied with the service provided.  Clients have said that I am responsive, helpful and very supportive.  I really enjoy getting to know each client, spending extra time just to provide that little bit extra which makes our service so personal.

I have a passion for fitness, especially indoor and outdoor rock climbing and fell walking.  I am also part of a family of 14 children, which isn’t something you come across every day!
